Excavating Elves

Tinsel & Tyrannosaurs

Dr. Finn Digsby’s camper sat parked on the edge of a sprawling dig site, where the bones of a T-Rex slowly emerged from the desert sands. Twinkling Christmas lights wrapped around the camper’s awning cast a festive glow over the excavation tent, their colors reflecting faintly off the uncovered fossils.

By day, Finn worked tirelessly, brushing away centuries of dust from massive teeth and colossal claws, while holiday tunes played softly on a portable radio. By night, the dig site transformed into a peaceful retreat. A small campfire crackled beside the camper, its warmth cutting through the crisp December air.

The skeletal remains of the T-Rex loomed in the moonlight as if keeping watch over the festive scene. For Finn, Christmas in the desert felt magical: a blend of ancient wonders and quiet holiday cheer, with the stars above and a prehistoric guardian at his side.

In the distant (and delicious) corner of the Gingerverse, the Doctor has landed the TARDIS in the middle of a snowy gingerbread village. The Doctor peers out of the TARDIS to survey the scene and is ready for adventure.

But not far away, lurking in a pool of powdered sugar snow, a gingerbread Dalek plots its next move. Instead of shouting "EXTERMINATE," this Dalek seems to be muttering something sweeter: "DECORATE!" Perhaps the holiday spirit has softened its crunchy candy heart.
